AVENSIS MODULE
ABS TOYOTA AVENSIS
We repair the ABS module on your Toyota Avensis and return your own remanufactured control unit, without relying on breaker’s yard parts of uncertain compatibility. Toyota Avensis ABS repair is one of the most requested jobs in our workshop, because the Avensis T25 (2003-2009) was one of the models most widely used in fleets, taxis and driving schools in Spain, which means a lot of miles covered and accelerated wear on the module’s internal components. We work exclusively with the electronic part number for the Avensis T25, as Toyota changed control unit between generations and T25 parts are not interchangeable with those of the later T27. This is the Toyota Avensis version whose ABS module we repair. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
TOYOTA AVENSIS ABS FAULT symptoms
The Toyota Avensis T25 does not offer the user a list of ABS fault codes that can be read without diagnostic equipment: the fault is identified by the symptoms it causes. The most common Toyota Avensis T25 ABS fault symptoms, especially on D-4D diesel units and on high-mileage examples used in fleets, taxis and driving schools, are:
ABS warning light permanently on
The warning light does not go off when the engine is restarted: this almost always indicates internal damage to the module’s circuit board, unlike an intermittent fault caused by a loose or oxidised connector.
Intermittent ABS warning light
The warning light comes on and goes off irregularly, usually because of a loose connector or an oxidised connection on the module, without the fault yet being permanent.
Corroded connectors on D-4D diesel versions
On versions with the D-4D diesel engine, the engine’s own vibration often encourages corrosion of the module connectors, causing ABS faults.
Major MOT defect because of the ABS warning light
An illuminated ABS warning light counts as a major defect at the vehicle roadworthiness inspection, so the fault has to be fixed before you can pass it.
Slightly harsher braking before the warning light comes on
With recent faults you may notice slightly harsher braking or a slight delay in the system’s response before the warning light comes on.
Higher incidence due to high mileage in fleets and taxis
The Avensis racks up a lot of miles and braking cycles in its usual role as a fleet car, taxi or driving-school car, which speeds up wear on the module’s internal components.
