12-month warranty on all our repairs

At Nito Motor we do not just fix the specific fault in your ABS module. We carry out a complete restoration of the module and replace worn components with new ones, manufactured or restored by us. That is why we back every repair with a 12-month warranty with no mileage limit, on both cars and motorcycles, and for customers all over the world. And if you want even more peace of mind, you can extend it by a further 12 months when you place your order.

What does our warranty involve?

Duration: 12 months from the invoice

The warranty starts from the date the invoice is issued and lasts a full year, or two if you took out the warranty extension. The invoice is the document that proves your warranty, so keep it: we will ask you for it to process any claim.

No mileage limit

It does not matter how much you use your vehicle. Whether you cover 2,000 km or 60,000 km in that year, the cover is the same.

What does it cover?

  • The correct operation of the repaired module. If during the warranty period the module develops a fault related to our repair, we inspect it and fix it free of charge.
  • Shipping and collection costs. During the warranty, Nito Motor covers collecting the module from your address or your garage and returning it, through our courier companies (GLS and NACEX).

What does it not cover?

  • Fitting and removal of the module. The warranty does not cover the garage’s labour to remove and refit the module; that cost is borne by the customer or the garage. If you want it covered, you can take out our fitting and removal insurance.
  • Modules containing fluids foreign to the system. The warranty is void if the module shows clear signs of containing any fluid other than brake fluid, such as water or cleaning solvents.

Tip: never clean the ABS module with a pressure washer or with solvent products. It is one of the most common causes of faults and voids the warranty.

STEP BY STEP

How do I make a warranty claim?

  1. Run a diagnostic. Before removing anything, ask your garage to read the ABS fault codes to confirm that the fault comes from the module.
  2. Log in to your account. In My account → My orders, find your repair under «Completed orders» and click Request warranty.
  3. Fill in the request. Give the fault code and describe the problem: what happens, since when and in what conditions. If you have your garage’s diagnostic report, attach it (jpg, png, pdf, Word or Excel, up to 20 MB).
  4. We reply by email. We review your request and let you know as soon as it is resolved. In the meantime, you can track its status in My account → Warranties.
  5. Collection, inspection and return. If the warranty is approved, we collect the module at no cost to you, inspect it, repair it if appropriate and return it to you.

Fitting and removal insurance: full cover during the warranty

Our warranty covers the repair of the module and the shipping. The only thing left out is the garage’s labour. So that you have no expenses if you need to use the warranty, your order includes fitting and removal insurance as standard, for 150 € + VAT. If you do not want it, choose «No insurance» in the basket.

What does it involve?

If your part needs to use the warranty, the insurance covers the labour costs of fitting and removal at your independent garage.

  • Price: 150 € + VAT per module, added when you place the order. If you extend the warranty to 24 months, the insurance is extended with it and costs 250 € + VAT.
  • Garages covered: independent garages you trust.
  • Garages excluded: dealerships and official garages.
  • No insurance: fitting and removal costs during the warranty are borne by the customer.

Extended warranty: 12 more months of peace of mind

All our repairs can be extended to a 24-month warranty. Just tick the «Extend the warranty to 24 months» box in the basket, right below the insurance one, on each module you want to extend.

How does it work?

The extension adds 12 months to your warranty with the same conditions as always: no mileage limit, and collection and return of the module at our expense.

  • Price: 50 € + VAT per module, added in the basket.
  • Modules of 600 € or more: 100 € + VAT. Their components are more expensive to replace, which is why extending their warranty costs a little more. You will see it shown in the basket.
  • Total duration: 24 months from the invoice date.
  • When: when you place the order, just like the insurance.
  • With insurance: the fitting and removal insurance also covers 24 months and costs 250 € + VAT instead of 150 €.

In short, the warranty ensures that the module works and covers its repair and transport. The insurance covers what it costs to remove it and refit it in the vehicle. With both, a warranty claim costs you nothing.
