2. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the contracting, through this website, of our repair and remanufacturing services for car and motorcycle ABS modules, and the purchase of the products we sell on it.
By placing an order you declare that you have read and accepted these terms in the version published at that time. They are supplemented by our Legal notice, the Privacy policy, the Cookie policy and the conditions on the Warranty page.
3. Private customers and professionals
We serve private customers as well as garages and other trade professionals. If you contract as a consumer, you have all the rights granted to you by consumer and user legislation, which these terms do not limit.
Professionals can apply for a trade account from our website. Once approved, they will see their special prices in the shop. We reserve the right to approve these accounts.
4. Your account
To place an order you need an account on our website. If you do not have one, it is created when you complete your first order, with the details you provide and the password you choose. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for ensuring that the details you give us are correct and up to date.
From My account you can follow every step of your repairs, check your orders, write to us and request the warranty.
5. How to request a repair
The purchase process is as follows:
- Choose your module and the quantity. Each module goes on its own line in the basket.
- Choose whether to add the fitting and removal insurance for each module (section 11). You must make a choice to continue.
- Choose how the module reaches us: with Nito Motor’s collection and delivery, or by shipping it yourself (section 7).
- Fill in your details, those of the vehicle and of the fault (make, model, year, registration number, mileage and, if you have it, the fault code). You can attach your garage’s diagnostic report.
- Click «Place order». We will send you an email confirming that we have registered it, with the steps for preparing the module.
The contract is formalised when we confirm the order by email. Before submitting it you can review and correct any details on the order page.
6. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in euros and excluding VAT. The VAT in force (21 %) is added to the order total, itemised before you confirm it.
The price of the repair is that of the module you choose on the website. Collection and delivery by Nito Motor and the fitting and removal insurance (150 € + VAT per module) are added separately if you choose them.
For shipments outside Spain, taxes, fees or customs duties of the destination country may apply, which are borne by the customer.
7. Sending the module to our technical centre
You can get your module to us in two ways:
- Collection and delivery by Nito Motor: we arrange collection of the module from your address or your garage and, once it has been repaired and paid for, we return it to you. It has the cost shown when you place the order.
- Shipping it yourself: you send us the module at C/ Almoharín, 3 – 06800 Mérida (Badajoz), Spain, with the carrier of your choice and at your own expense. When it has been repaired and paid for, you also arrange its collection.
Pack the module well protected, free of any fluids other than brake fluid, and without cleaning it with a pressure washer or solvents. We explain how to prepare it in the order confirmation email.
8. Repair and turnaround times
At our technical repair centre we diagnose the module on the test bench, remanufacture it by replacing the worn components and check it before returning it to you.
For the most common models, diagnosis, repair and final testing are carried out within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the module. This timeframe is a guide: some models or faults may need more time, and we will let you know if so.
We notify you by email of every status change, and you can follow them in My account.
9. Payment
You pay nothing upfront. When your module has been repaired, we email you the invoice with the details for paying it by bank transfer.
The repaired module is shipped or made ready for collection once payment has been received. If after a while we have not received it, we will send you an email reminder.
10. Modules that cannot be repaired
If after diagnosis we find that your module cannot be repaired, we will let you know and we will not charge you for the repair.
Returning the module is at your expense: we will tell you how to arrange it and, if you prefer, its cost so that we can take care of it.
11. Fitting and removal insurance
It is optional, costs 150 € (plus VAT) per module and can only be taken out when you place the order.
If during the warranty your module needs to use it, the insurance covers the labour to remove it and refit it at an independent garage. It does not cover dealerships or official garages. To claim, you send us the garage’s invoice and we refund the amount.
Without insurance, the fitting and removal labour is borne by the customer.
12. Warranty
All our repairs have a 12-month warranty with no mileage limit, from the invoice date. If you take out the warranty extension when you place the order, it is 24 months. If during that time the module develops a fault related to our repair, we inspect it and fix it free of charge, and we cover its collection and return.
The warranty does not cover fitting and removal labour (unless you have taken out the insurance) and is void if the module shows signs of containing fluids other than brake fluid, such as water or solvents.
You can request it from My account, under Warranties, or by emailing us at info@nitomotor.com or calling 695 987 786. We will ask you for the invoice number and the fault code. All the conditions are on our Warranty page.
This commercial warranty is in addition to the rights granted to consumers by law, without limiting them.
13. Withdrawal and cancellation
If you contract as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of its formalisation, without giving any reason, by emailing us at info@nitomotor.com.
When you place the order you expressly ask us to start the repair as soon as we receive the module. Therefore, once it has been repaired, you can no longer withdraw, because the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw after we have started, but before we finish, you will only pay the proportional part of the work carried out.
If you cancel before we start and the module is already at our premises, we return it to you with the shipping costs at your expense, as in section 10.
For direct-sale products (not repairs), you have the same 14 days from receipt to return them in their original condition. We will refund the amount paid, and the return costs are at your expense.
14. Installation and liability
The repaired module keeps its original coding. We recommend having it fitted at a garage: once installed, the brake fluid must be bled and the old faults cleared with a diagnostic tool.
Before removing a module, ask your garage for a diagnostic: a wheel sensor, wiring or a connection in poor condition can also switch on the ABS warning light. We are not liable for faults in other vehicle components or for damage caused by incorrect installation or handling, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
15. Customer service and complaints
For any question, issue or complaint you can email us at info@nitomotor.com, call us on 695 987 786 or use «My enquiries» in My account. We will reply as soon as possible.
Complaint forms are available at our premises.
16. Data protection
We process your data to manage your orders, your repairs and your warranty, as explained in our Privacy policy.
17. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, any dispute will be settled by the courts of your place of residence. If you are a professional, the parties submit to the courts of Mérida (Badajoz).
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to adapt them to changes in our services or in the regulations. Each order is subject to the terms in force at the time it is placed.
