CRUZE MODULE
CHEVROLET CRUZE ABS
At Nito Motor we carry out your Chevrolet Cruze ABS repair by returning your own remanufactured unit, with the hydraulic unit and circuit board restored. It is an especially frequent fault on 2011 and 2012 models, the first generation of the Cruze sold in Spain, and there is no need to recode the control unit or rely on a breaker’s yard spare of uncertain compatibility. This is the Chevrolet Cruze version for which we repair the ABS module. If you cannot find your car, contact us and we will help you.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
CHEVROLET CRUZE ABS FAULT symptoms
The Chevrolet Cruze has no catalogue of ABS fault codes of its own visible to the user: a Chevrolet Cruze ABS module fault is identified by the symptoms it causes when driving. It is especially common on 2011 and 2012 cars, where the passing of the years worsens the wear on the connectors and internal components of the control unit. The most frequent symptoms are:
ABS warning light on
It stays on permanently on the instrument panel, or comes on and goes off intermittently with no clear pattern, a sign of a fault detected by the Cruze’s ABS control unit.
Irregular brake pedal
Longer travel than normal or a hard feel when pressing the pedal, due to a loss of pressure in the hydraulic circuit.
Inconsistent braking between wheels
One wheel brakes earlier or harder than the others, pulling the car to one side, especially on wet roads or in the rain.
Traction control or ESP warning light on at the same time
On the Chevrolet Cruze, the ABS and the traction or stability control share the same control unit, so both warning lights usually come on together when the module fails.
Intermittent fault due to corroded connectors
The warning light goes off and comes back on with no clear pattern, typical of ageing connectors on 2011 and 2012 cars.
