C3 MODULE
CITROËN C3 ABS
We repair the ABS module of your Citroën C3 by returning your own remanufactured control unit, with the hydraulic unit and circuit board restored. Our Citroën C3 ABS repair covers all three generations of the model — the first (2002–2009), the second (2009–2016) and the current C3 III (2016–2026) — in petrol, diesel and mild-hybrid versions, with no need to recode the control unit or rely on a breaker’s yard spare of uncertain compatibility. This is the Citroën C3 version for which we repair the ABS module. If you cannot find your car, contact us and we will help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
CITROËN C3 ABS FAULT symptoms
The Citroën C3 does not show the driver a list of ABS fault codes: any Citroën C3 ABS anomaly shows up through the symptoms it causes when driving and on the instrument panel. The most common, especially on higher-mileage cars, are:
“Braking system faulty” message on the dashboard
This generic warning shown by some Citroëns is triggered precisely when the ABS system itself detects an internal anomaly, so it usually accompanies or precedes the ABS warning light coming on.
ABS warning light permanently on
The ABS light stays on on the instrument panel and does not go off even if you restart the engine, a sign that the control unit has logged an internal fault.
Harder brake pedal or longer travel
The pedal is harder to press or sinks further than usual, due to a loss of pressure or assistance in the hydraulic circuit.
The car pulls to one side when braking
One wheel brakes earlier or harder than the rest, a symptom that is especially noticeable on wet roads or under heavy braking.
The ABS does not intervene in emergency braking
The wheels lock under hard braking because the system has stopped working, which increases the braking distance.
Traction control / ESP warning light on together with the ABS
It comes on at the same time as the ABS warning light because both systems share the same electro-hydraulic unit on the C3.
