C5 MODULE
CITROËN C5 ABS
We repair the ABS module of your Citroën C5 by returning your own remanufactured control unit, with the hydraulic unit and circuit board restored. Our Citroën C5 ABS repair fixes the “ABS fault” warning on the instrument panel, whether the source lies in a wheel sensor, in the hydraulic unit or in an internal component of the control unit itself. We always work with your own control unit, with no need to recode it or rely on a breaker’s yard spare of uncertain compatibility. This is the Citroën C5 version for which we repair the ABS module. If you cannot find your car, contact us and we will help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
CITROËN C5 ABS FAULT symptoms
The Citroën C5 does not show the driver a list of ABS fault codes: any Citroën C5 ABS anomaly shows up through the symptoms it causes when driving and on the instrument panel. The most common, especially on cars with more years and miles behind them, are:
ABS and ESP warning lights on at the same time
On the Citroën C5, a Citroën C5 ABS fault with the ESP warning light on at the same time is almost always a single fault: both systems share the same electronic control unit, so when it fails internally the vehicle disables both functions at once as a safety measure.
ABS warning light permanently on
The ABS light stays on on the dashboard and does not go off when you restart the engine. Before assuming there is a Citroën C5 ABS anomaly in the module, it is worth checking the brake fluid level and the condition of the battery, because low voltage can trigger it without there being a real fault.
Brake pedal with irregular travel
You will notice a brake pedal with irregular travel or that is harder than normal, due to a loss of pressure or assistance in the hydraulic circuit of the Citroën C5 ABS module.
Inconsistent braking between wheels
One of the wheels brakes earlier or harder than the others, something that is especially noticeable on wet roads or under hard braking — one of the clearest symptoms of a Citroën C5 ABS anomaly.
Connectors corroded by age
On a Citroën C5 with quite a few years and miles behind it, it is common for the ABS module connectors to corrode or the internal components of the control unit to degrade, causing faults that do not always recur consistently.
Code C1350 on the OBD reader
If your OBD reader has shown you code C1350 on your Citroën C5, bear in mind that we have not confirmed with certainty what it corresponds to in the specific case of this model, since its definition can vary depending on the year and the control unit. Tell us the exact model and year and we will confirm whether it is related to the ABS.
