RAM MODULE
ABS DODGE RAM
At Nito Motor we carry out Dodge Ram ABS repair and return your own remanufactured unit, with the hydraulic unit and circuit board restored. We cover the whole Ram range sold as Dodge in Spain, with particular attention to the Dodge Ram 1500 ABS module —also listed on the imported parts market as the ABS module Dodge Ram 1500—, with no need to recode the control unit or rely on a breaker’s yard part of uncertain compatibility. This is the Dodge Ram version for which we repair the ABS module. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
Symptoms of a FAULTY DODGE RAM ABS
The Dodge Ram has no dedicated catalogue of Dodge Ram ABS fault codes visible to the user: the fault is detected through the symptoms it causes, which are strongly influenced by the work use typical of this pick-up. The most frequent on this model are:
ABS warning light on permanently or intermittently
The ABS warning light stays on in the instrument cluster or comes on and goes off with no clear pattern. Before suspecting the module, check the brake fluid level and the battery condition, as low voltage can also trigger it without there being a real fault in the control unit.
Hard brake pedal or irregular pedal travel
The pedal sinks further than normal or is harder to press, a sign that the control unit is no longer managing the pressure in the hydraulic circuit correctly.
Inconsistent braking between wheels
One wheel brakes earlier or harder than the others, which is especially noticeable when towing a trailer or carrying a load in the bed.
Traction control or stability warning light on
It comes on together with the ABS light because both systems share the same electro-hydraulic control unit on the Ram.
Accelerated wear from towing or heavy loads
Frequent towing or carrying heavy loads puts the hydraulic unit and wheel sensors under more braking work than light use, accelerating wear on the module’s internal components over time.
The ABS does not intervene in emergency braking
The wheels lock under hard braking because the system has stopped working, increasing the braking distance of a pick-up of this weight and size.
