PARTNER MODULE
ABS PEUGEOT PARTNER
The Peugeot Partner ABS module combines the electronic control unit and the hydraulic unit that distributes braking force across the four wheels of your van, and in this commercial vehicle it takes a particular beating from the constant vibration of daily load-carrying and the heat of the engine bay. At Nito Motor we carry out Peugeot Partner ABS repair on your own original unit: we rebuild the solder joints on the circuit board and check the hydraulic unit without replacing the whole part, so you get it back ready to fit, without losing its programming or having to recode the control unit. This is the Peugeot Partner version for which we repair the ABS module. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
PEUGEOT PARTNER ABS FAULT Symptoms
The Peugeot Partner doesn’t always show the driver a readable fault code when the ABS fails, so it pays to watch how the dashboard warning light behaves and how the brake pedal responds. These are the symptoms that most often give away a Peugeot Partner ABS fault:
ABS warning light permanently on
The Peugeot Partner ABS light stays on in the instrument cluster and won’t go out, a sign that the control unit has detected a fault and gone into safe mode.
Fault message on the multifunction display
On versions with a multifunction display, the Peugeot Partner ABS fault warning appears, usually together with the stability control being switched off on units fitted with it, although the cause may be a simple wheel sensor rather than the module.
Hard brake pedal or irregular pedal travel
You’ll notice the pedal is harder to press or sinks irregularly, especially on 1.6 HDi diesel versions loaded every day, due to a loss of pressure in the hydraulic circuit of the Peugeot Partner ABS unit.
Blown ABS relay or fuse
Before suspecting the Peugeot Partner ABS module, it’s worth checking the relay and fuses in the engine compartment: in a van used for work they go through far more start cycles than in a passenger car.
Intermittent fault caused by damp connectors
Constantly opening the rear loading doors lets moisture reach the wiring under the chassis, and corroded Peugeot Partner ABS module connectors make the warning light come on and go off with no clear pattern.
The ABS does not intervene in an emergency stop
The wheels lock when you brake hard because the module has been deactivated, which is especially dangerous in a loaded van, where the extra weight lengthens the braking distance even further.
