FABIA MODULE
SKODA FABIA ABS
We offer Skoda Fabia ABS repair and return your own remanufactured control unit, with the circuit board and hydraulic unit restored to factory condition. We cover all four generations of the model: the Fabia I (1999-2007), the Fabia 2 (2007-2014), the Fabia III (2014-2021) and the Fabia IV (2021-2026), with diesel and petrol engines, with no need to recode the control unit or rely on a breaker’s yard spare of uncertain compatibility. This is the Skoda Fabia version for which we repair the ABS module. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
SKODA FABIA ABS FAULT Symptoms
The Skoda Fabia ABS module doesn’t give the driver a direct reading of fault codes: the fault is identified by the symptoms it causes on the road. These are the most frequent, especially on older, higher-mileage cars:
ABS warning light permanently on
The ABS warning light stays on in the instrument cluster and doesn’t go out when you restart the engine, a sign that the control unit has detected an internal fault in your Skoda Fabia.
Harder brake pedal or irregular pedal travel
The pedal is harder to press or its travel varies from one stop to the next, due to a loss of pressure in the module’s hydraulic circuit.
Inconsistent braking between wheels
One wheel brakes earlier or harder than the others, an imbalance that is most noticeable on wet roads or under sudden braking.
ESP warning light on together with the ABS light
It comes on at the same time as the ABS warning light because both systems share the same electro-hydraulic control unit in the Fabia.
Intermittent fault due to corroded connectors
Over the years and the miles, the Skoda Fabia ABS module connectors can corrode and cause a fault that doesn’t always recur consistently.
The ABS does not intervene in emergency braking
The wheels lock under hard braking because the system has stopped working, which increases your Skoda Fabia’s braking distance.
