Same manufacturer, two different modules
Ford does not fit the same ABS to all its cars: depending on the model and year, yours has one module or another.
-
Standard ABS module
The standard ABS fitted to most Ford models: hydraulic unit, pump and control unit in a single block. We remanufacture it in full and keep its original coding.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
Symptoms of a Ford ABS fault
Spotting a Ford ABS fault in time can prevent accidents and bigger repairs. An illuminated Ford ABS warning light on the dashboard is the warning we hear about most at the workshop, but it rarely comes alone. A faulty ABS on a Ford can show up in several ways; the most common signs include:
ABS warning light on
The Ford ABS warning light stays on in the instrument cluster, sometimes alongside the brake warning light.
Internal ABS module fault
The unit logs code B1342, which the official diagnosis interprets as replacing the control unit, although in most cases it can be repaired.
Unpredictable braking
The braking system does not respond as it should. DTC reading and testing of every hydraulic and electronic channel.
Hard brake pedal
You notice heavy resistance or irregular travel when pressing the pedal, indicating a fault in your Ford’s ABS pump, logged as C1095.
