WRANGLER MODULE
ABS JEEP WRANGLER
Our Jeep Wrangler ABS repair service returns your own remanufactured control unit, with the hydraulic unit and circuit board restored, instead of replacing the module with a new or second-hand one. We work on units from the JK generation (2007-2018): the Jeep Wrangler 2013 ABS module, the Jeep Wrangler 2014 ABS module and the Jeep Wrangler 2015 ABS module share the same basic electronics, so we repair any year in that range with no need to recode the unit or rely on a breaker’s yard part of uncertain compatibility. This is the Jeep Wrangler version for which we repair the ABS module. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
Symptoms of a FAULTY JEEP WRANGLER ABS
Jeep does not publish a dedicated list of ABS fault codes for the Wrangler accessible to the driver: the fault is identified through the symptoms it causes, especially on older units and on vehicles frequently used on dirt tracks, in mud or for fording water. The most common Jeep Wrangler ABS symptoms are:
The ABS warning light stays on permanently
The ABS warning light in the instrument cluster does not go off even after restarting the engine, a sign that the control unit has stored an internal fault code.
The brake pedal loses firmness
The pedal feels spongy or its travel changes between braking manoeuvres, a sign of a loss of pressure in the hydraulic circuit controlled by the ABS module.
The Wrangler pulls to one side when braking
One wheel brakes before the others, an effect that becomes more pronounced on uneven surfaces or under hard braking on wet tarmac.
The traction or stability warning light also comes on
On the Wrangler both warning lights usually appear together because the ABS and traction control share the same electro-hydraulic control unit.
The fault appears after driving on dirt tracks, in mud or fording water
The Wrangler’s regular off-road use exposes the wheel sensors and the control unit itself to knocks, vibration and moisture which, over time, can loosen connections or damage internal components.
The ABS doesn’t respond under emergency braking
The wheels lock despite braking hard because the system has stopped working, which lengthens the braking distance and compromises safety.
