MAZDA 6 MODULE
ABS MAZDA 6
We repair the ABS module on your Mazda 6 by returning your own unit remanufactured, with the circuit board and the hydraulic unit restored. Our Mazda 6 ABS repair covers both the first generation (2002-2007) and the second (2007-2013), with the fault especially common on units built in 2005 and 2007, in petrol and diesel versions, with no need to recode the control unit or rely on a breaker’s yard part of uncertain compatibility. This is the Mazda 6 version for which we repair the ABS module. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
MAZDA 6 ABS FAULT symptoms
The Mazda 6 has no catalogue of ABS fault codes of its own that the user can access: a module fault is mainly identified by the symptoms it causes. The most common, on both the 2005 Mazda 6 ABS module and the 2007 Mazda 6 ABS module, are:
ABS warning light permanently on
The Mazda 6 ABS warning light comes on in the instrument cluster and doesn’t go off when the engine is restarted, a sign that the control unit has detected an internal fault that requires the module to be checked.
Harder brake pedal or longer travel
The pedal sinks further than normal or is harder to press, due to a pressure drop in the hydraulic circuit managed by the Mazda 6 ABS module.
The car pulls to one side when braking
One wheel brakes earlier or harder than the others, an imbalance that is most noticeable under hard braking or on wet roads.
Traction control warning light on together with the ABS light
Both warning lights come on at the same time because traction control and ABS share the same electro-hydraulic control unit.
Intermittent fault that comes and goes
The warning light comes on and goes off with no clear pattern, typical behaviour on both the 2005 Mazda 6 ABS module and the 2007 Mazda 6 ABS module, where the solder joints and internal components degrade over the years.
The ABS does not intervene in emergency braking
The wheels lock under hard braking because the system has stopped working, which increases the braking distance and the risk of skidding.
