GRAND VITARA MODULE
ABS SUZUKI GRAND VITARA
We repair the ABS module on your Suzuki Grand Vitara and return your own remanufactured control unit, with the hydraulic unit and circuit board restored. Our Suzuki Grand Vitara ABS repair service covers both the first generation (1998-2005) and the second (2005-2015), including the 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara ABS module, and should not be confused with the Suzuki Vitara ABS: although they share a platform, they are fitted with different control units, each with its own part number. All without having to recode the control unit or rely on a part from a breaker’s yard of uncertain compatibility. This is the Suzuki Grand Vitara version whose ABS module we repair. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
SUZUKI GRAND VITARA ABS FAULT symptoms
The Suzuki Grand Vitara does not have a catalogue of ABS fault codes visible to the user: the fault is identified by the symptoms it causes in everyday driving, especially after intensive off-road use. If you want to check the Suzuki Grand Vitara ABS yourself before going to the garage, these are the most common Suzuki Grand Vitara ABS module symptoms:
ABS light permanently on
The warning light stays on in the instrument cluster and does not go off even if you restart the engine. It is the Suzuki Grand Vitara ABS light-on problem most often brought to the garage, a sign that the control unit has detected a genuine internal fault.
Fault most common after off-road driving
Tracks, mud or driving through puddles expose both the wheel sensors and the ABS control unit itself to vibration and moisture far greater than in urban use, which can loosen connections or damage internal electronic components over time.
Harder brake pedal or irregular pedal travel
The pedal sinks further than usual or is harder to press, due to a loss of pressure in the hydraulic circuit of the ABS system.
The car pulls to one side when braking
One wheel brakes earlier or harder than the rest, which is especially noticeable on wet surfaces, on tracks or under sudden braking.
Traction or stability control warning light on together with the ABS light
Both systems usually share the same control unit, so an ABS module fault can light up the traction or stability warning light on the dashboard at the same time.
Intermittent fault due to corroded connectors
On units with more years and miles, such as the 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara ABS module, it is common for the connectors to corrode and the warning light to come on intermittently rather than staying on.
