COROLLA MODULE
ABS TOYOTA COROLLA
We repair the ABS module of your Toyota Corolla and return your own remanufactured control unit, without relying on breaker’s yard parts of uncertain compatibility. Toyota Corolla ABS repair is one of the most common enquiries we receive, with the ABS warning light permanently on as the most frequent reason. We work on your vehicle’s own electronic part number, so a Corolla ABS fault is repaired without losing the calibration or the mileage already linked to the original control unit. We receive enquiries about both the 2009 Toyota Corolla ABS and the 2010 Toyota Corolla ABS, the two most requested generations, although the service is provided in the same way for other part numbers of the same model. This is the Toyota Corolla version for which we repair the ABS module. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
FAULT symptoms TOYOTA COROLLA ABS
The Toyota Corolla doesn’t offer the user a list of ABS fault codes that can be checked without diagnostic equipment either: the fault is identified by the symptoms it causes at the wheel and on the brake pedal. A 2009 Toyota Corolla ABS module and a 2010 Toyota Corolla ABS module fail in a similar way, and the symptoms we describe below are common to the whole range, regardless of the year of manufacture.
ABS and EBD warning lights on at the same time
When the ABS warning light comes on together with the brake (EBD) light and doesn’t go out when the engine is restarted, the cause is usually the ABS module rather than a particular wheel sensor.
Intermittent ABS warning light
The warning light comes on and goes off with no clear pattern, generally because of a loose or corroded connector, before it becomes a permanent fault.
The fault persists after replacing the wheel sensors
If one or more wheel sensors have already been replaced and the ABS warning light is still on, the fault is most likely in the control unit itself and not in the sensor.
Pump noises or humming under the bonnet
A continuous or intermittent hum coming from the hydraulic unit, even with the car stationary, usually points to a fault in the module’s pump circuit.
Harder or vibrating brake pedal
When the module activates the anti-lock system without any real sudden braking, the driver notices a harder pedal or a vibration with no apparent cause.
Major MOT defect because of the ABS warning light
An illuminated ABS warning light is a major defect at the MOT, just as on any Corolla, so the fault has to be fixed before the car can pass.
