RANGE ROVER MODULE
ABS RANGE ROVER
Range Rover ABS repair returns your own control unit remanufactured, with the hydraulic unit and the circuit board restored, without replacing the complete unit. We cover every generation: the Range Rover Classic (1970–1996), the P38 (1994–2002), the L322/L405/L460 generations and the Range Rover Evoque, in both diesel and petrol versions, without relying on a breaker’s yard part of uncertain compatibility. These are the Land Rover Range Rover versions for which we repair the ABS module. Each one may be fitted with a different module: choose yours and we’ll show you the one it uses. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
RANGE ROVER ABS FAULT symptoms
The Range Rover does not give the user a list of ABS fault codes that can be read without specific diagnostic equipment: the fault is detected by the symptoms it causes. The most common on this model, especially on older Classic and P38 units or those that have seen heavy off-road use, are:
ABS warning light permanently on
The ABS warning light stays on in the instrument cluster and doesn’t go off when the engine is restarted, a sign that the control unit has detected an internal fault.
Harder brake pedal or irregular pedal travel
The pedal sinks differently from one moment to the next or is harder to press, due to a loss of pressure in the module’s hydraulic circuit.
Inconsistent braking or the car pulling to one side
One wheel brakes earlier or harder than the others, particularly noticeable under hard braking or on wet roads.
Traction control or stability warning light on
It comes on together with the ABS light because both systems share the same electro-hydraulic control unit on the Range Rover.
Faults after wading or heavy off-roading
Moisture getting into the ABS control unit or its connectors during wading or off-road use causes internal electrical faults that sometimes appear weeks later rather than straight away.
The ABS does not intervene in an emergency stop
The wheels lock under hard braking because the system has stopped working, which increases the braking distance.
