OCTAVIA MODULE
SKODA OCTAVIA ABS
We offer Skoda Octavia ABS repair and return your own remanufactured control unit, with the circuit board and hydraulic unit restored to factory condition. We work on both the Octavia 1 (1996-2010) and the Octavia 2 (2004-2013), two generations fitted with different ABS modules that are not interchangeable, with diesel and petrol engines, with no need to recode the control unit or rely on a breaker’s yard spare of uncertain compatibility. This is the Skoda Octavia version for which we repair the ABS module. If you can’t find your car, contact us and we’ll help you.
We can't find that model. Escríbenos with the module's part number and we'll tell you if we can repair it.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
SKODA OCTAVIA ABS FAULT Symptoms
The Skoda Octavia ABS module doesn’t show the driver a direct fault code: the way to detect a problem is to pay attention to the symptoms that appear on the road. These are the most common, on both the Octavia 1 and the Octavia 2, especially once the car has some age and mileage:
ABS warning light permanently on
The ABS warning light stays on in the instrument cluster and doesn’t go out after restarting the engine, a clear warning that the control unit has detected an internal fault in your Skoda Octavia’s module.
Hard brake pedal or irregular pedal travel
You’ll notice the pedal is harder than normal to press or its travel changes from one stop to the next, the result of a loss of pressure in the ABS module’s hydraulic circuit.
Uneven braking between the wheels
One wheel grips earlier or harder than the rest when braking, an imbalance that is especially noticeable on wet roads or under sudden braking.
ESP warning light on together with the ABS light
On the Skoda Octavia, the ABS and ESP share the same electro-hydraulic control unit, so an internal fault usually turns both warning lights on at once.
Intermittent faults on the Octavia 1 due to corroded connectors
On the oldest Octavia 1 cars, the ABS module connectors can corrode over the years, causing a fault that doesn’t always recur consistently.
Electrical fault in the ATE MK60 module on the Octavia 2
Many versions of the Octavia 2 are fitted with the ATE MK60 module, a unit known for suffering internal electrical faults on the circuit board as it builds up years of use.
