Same manufacturer, two different modules
Alfa Romeo does not fit the same ABS to all its cars: depending on the model and year, yours has one module or another.
-
Standard ABS module
The standard ABS fitted to most Alfa Romeo models: hydraulic unit, pump and control unit in a single block. We remanufacture it in full and keep its original coding.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
Symptoms of an Alfa Romeo ABS fault
Spotting an Alfa Romeo ABS fault in time can prevent accidents and bigger repairs. An illuminated Alfa Romeo ABS warning light on the dashboard is the warning we see most often at the workshop, but it rarely comes alone. The most common signs include:
ABS warning light on
The Alfa Romeo ABS warning light stays on in the instrument cluster, often together with the stability control (VDC) light.
ABS deactivated due to an internal fault
The system shuts down after detecting an internal fault and a code such as C0561 is stored, leaving the ABS out of service.
Unpredictable braking
The braking system does not respond as it should. DTC reading and testing of every hydraulic and electronic channel.
Hard brake pedal
You notice heavy resistance or irregular travel when pressing the pedal, which indicates a fault in your Alfa Romeo’s ABS pump.
