Same manufacturer, two different modules
Nissan does not fit the same ABS to all its cars: depending on the model and year, yours has one module or another.
-
Standard ABS module
The standard ABS fitted to most Nissan models: hydraulic unit, pump and control unit in a single block. We remanufacture it in full and keep its original coding.

WHY DOES IT FAIL?
Symptoms of a NISSAN ABS fault
Spotting a Nissan ABS fault in time can prevent accidents and bigger repairs. The Nissan ABS light on the dashboard is the warning we hear about most at the workshop, but it rarely comes alone: a Nissan ABS sensor that stops sending a signal, or a control unit that misreads the one it receives, can show up in several ways. The most common signs of a faulty ABS on a Nissan are:
ABS warning light on
The Nissan ABS light stays on in the instrument cluster and does not go out even after bleeding the brakes, because air in the hydraulic circuit and an electronic fault in the control unit show up in the same way but are not the same problem.
Internal ABS module fault
The scanner logs code C1110, an internal fault in the ABS actuator controller that points to the control unit’s own circuit board and not to a sensor or external wiring.
Unpredictable braking
The braking system does not respond as it should. DTC reading and testing of every hydraulic and electronic channel.
Loss of communication with the engine control unit
The diagnostic tool logs C1130 and the ABS module in your Nissan cannot establish communication with the engine control unit (ECM). Although the code names the engine, the cause lies in the ABS itself.

Why choose our ABS control unit repair over a new one?
TYPICAL NISSAN ABS FAULTS WE REPAIR
Most common Nissan DTC codes
Reading fault in the right (C1101) or left (C1102) rear wheel speed sensor
Reading fault in the right (C1103) or left (C1104) front wheel speed sensor
Specific problems in the electrical circuit (short circuit or open circuit) of the wheel sensors
Internal fault in the ABS actuator controller (electronic control module). Often requires repair or complete replacement of the unit
Fault in the ABS hydraulic pump motor (may be a mechanical seizure or an electrical fault)
Problems in the internal solenoids (the valves that open and close the flow of brake fluid pressure)
Fault in the ABS actuator power relay
Fault in the brake light switch circuit. The module cannot reliably tell whether you are pressing the pedal
Engine signal communication error. The engine control unit (ECM) is not communicating correctly with the ABS
Fault or unrealistic reading in the brake fluid pressure sensor
Calibration faults or failure in the steering angle sensor (C1143) or in the lateral acceleration sensor (Yaw Rate / G sensor) (C1145)
